Dr Gary Bowie announced yesterday at City Council that George Virtue has accepted the position to Chair the Lethbridge 2012 Alberta Summer Games. Watch the Lethbridge Herald Southern People feature in the coming weeks to find out more about George's background and his plans for the Games.

If you haven't heard, Lethbridge will host the 2012 Alberta Summer Games. Over 300 participants, sleeping on mats in school classrooms, all you can eat buffets, and lots of fun and exciting competitions for emerging athletes in about 20 different sports. Lethbridge will put on a fantastic event!
