In the ideal world an athletic trainer would be available to administer first aid but that just isn't possible. Too many times people are told to sit out until they can "shake it off". This app takes an individual, even one with no medical background, through the vital steps in recognizing whether an individual is exhibiting and/or reporting the signs and symptoms of a suspected concussion and respond quickly and appropriately.
The app developer, PAR, will donate a portion of the proceeds from the sale of this app to support concussion research at the Children‘s National Medical Center and the Matthew A. Gfeller Sport-Related Traumatic Brain Injury Research Center.
